Process & Production

1800 Silver Tequila is produced from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in Jalisco, Mexico.

The mature agave is harvested before being cooked to transform its natural carbohydrates into fermentable sugars. Following cooking and extraction, the agave undergoes fermentation and distillation to create the clean tequila that forms the foundation of 1800 Silver.

The expression is designed to emphasize the fresh qualities of Blue Weber agave rather than the heavier oak influence found in longer-aged tequila.

The finished tequila is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), creating a versatile balance of agave flavor, gentle sweetness, fruit, and spice.

Appearance

Crystal clear and bright with clean silver highlights, reflecting the fresh character associated with silver tequila.

What Makes It Special

1800 Silver serves as the fresh and versatile foundation of the 1800 Tequila portfolio.

Its production begins with 100% Blue Weber agave from Jalisco, keeping the character of Mexico's signature tequila agave at the center of the expression.

Unlike extensively matured tequilas, Silver emphasizes the brighter side of tequila, with agave, fruit, floral, and pepper characteristics remaining prominent.

Its 80-proof bottling strength provides enough structure for sipping while also allowing the tequila to remain versatile in cocktails.

The bottle itself is another recognizable part of the 1800 identity. Its distinctive trapezoidal design draws inspiration from the Mayan pyramids found throughout Mexico, while the name 1800 references the year associated with the beginning of tequila's maturation in oak casks.

How to Enjoy

1800 Silver Tequila can be enjoyed neat, chilled, over ice, or in cocktails.

For a classic serve, use it as the tequila base for a Margarita, combining it with fresh lime juice and orange liqueur.

Its fresh agave and citrus-friendly profile also works particularly well in a Paloma with grapefruit and lime.

Other options include Ranch Water, Tequila Soda, or other cocktails where a clean blanco tequila provides the foundation without introducing significant barrel flavors.
